RICHMOND, Va. -- Charlie "Helicopter" Hentz didn't have much of a pro basketball career, playing just one season with the Pittsburgh Condors of the American Basketball Association. But he certainly left his mark on Raleigh, North Carolina's Dorton Arena in 1970, shattering two glass backboards and contributing an iconic, indelible memory of that entertaining, upstart league!
